Terms of Service
Updated October 21, 2026
This is an agreement between you and Smuga. By signing up you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy. We wrote them in plain words; if anything is unclear, write to support@smugaspace.com.
Who we are
Smuga is an app and the website smuga.app. For now Smuga is run by its developer, Yaroslav Kulpan, as a private individual. Contact: support@smugaspace.com.
What Smuga is
Smuga is a tool for a trainer and their clients: trainer profiles and a catalog, bookings, packages, chat, training programs and progress tracking.
Smuga doesn't provide training or medical services itself. The trainer runs the training, and the agreement about it is between you and the trainer. Smuga is not a medical service: the advice, norms and calculations in the app are guidance, not diagnosis or treatment.
Age
You can use Smuga from the age of 18. Later we will open Smuga to teenagers aged 14–17, only by a trainer's invite and with a parent's or guardian's consent; these terms will be updated before then.
Your account
- Give true information about yourself. One account is one person.
- Keep your account safe: don't share your password or let others sign in as you. If you think your account was hacked, write to us.
- You are responsible for what is done from your account.
For trainers
Smuga is for professional trainers, so only a verified profile reaches the catalog.
What you commit to about the client data you see in Smuga:
- Verification: before your profile is published, you pass a face check and add an intro video. The profile and every significant change go through moderation.
- Honesty: your experience, education, certificates and prices must be real.
- Use clients' data only to train them.
- Keep it confidential: don't pass it on or publish it without the client's consent.
- Don't copy health data out of Smuga, and delete what you saved yourself when you stop training the person.
- Respect the client's decision: they can withdraw health and photo access at any time.
- Behave professionally: no insults, pressure or offers unrelated to training.
For clients
- Training is physical exercise, and you take on its risk. Talk to a doctor before you start, and especially if you have injuries, chronic conditions or contraindications.
- Tell your trainer about limitations that may affect your training.
- Stop and get help if you feel unwell during a session.
Bookings, packages and payment
You book sessions with a trainer in Smuga and accept the booking terms the trainer set: price, cancellation, rescheduling. The terms are shown before you book and kept as a document.
For now you pay the trainer directly, outside Smuga, and the trainer marks the payment as received in the app. Smuga doesn't take or hold this money and is not a party to your arrangement. Sort out refunds with the trainer.
PRO subscription for trainers
- During the test launch PRO is free for every trainer.
- When paid PRO arrives, you buy it through the App Store or Google Play. The price and period are shown before you buy.
- The subscription renews automatically until you cancel it in the App Store or Google Play settings, at least 24 hours before the period ends.
- Refunds follow the App Store or Google Play rules.
- Clients use Smuga for free.
Content and reviews
What you add to Smuga (photos, videos, texts, reviews) stays yours. You allow us to store and show it in Smuga as the service needs, for example to show a trainer's profile in the catalog. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for the shared history described in the Privacy Policy.
A review must be honest and about a real session. A moderator checks every review before it is published.
What is not allowed
- Pretending to be someone else or creating fake profiles and reviews.
- Insults, harassment, spam or illegal content.
- Publishing other people's data or photos without their consent.
- Collecting other users' data, scraping the catalog, getting around Smuga's limits or protection.
- Using Smuga to sell banned substances or dangerous "methods".
Moderation, restrictions and bans
We check trainer profiles, reviews and reports. If someone breaks these terms, we may hide content, suspend a trainer's profile or ban an account. A decision about a trainer's profile reaches them in the app with the reason. You can appeal any decision by writing to support@smugaspace.com.
A suspended trainer gets no new clients, but their current clients keep their chat and bookings.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app or on the website. You can restore it within 30 days; after that we delete your personal data as the Privacy Policy describes. Future bookings are cancelled right away.
Liability
We do our best to keep Smuga running, but we don't promise it will never stop or have bugs. The test launch is an early version, and features may change.
To the extent the law allows, Smuga is not responsible for the quality of training, injuries during it, or arrangements and payments between a client and a trainer. Nothing in these terms limits the rights consumer protection law gives you.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of Ukraine. Write to us first: we settle most issues by email. If that doesn't work, a court will decide under Ukrainian law. If you live in the EU, you keep the rights your country's law gives you.
Changes to these terms
When we change these terms, we update the date and version at the top. We warn you about significant changes in advance in the app or by email. If you don't agree, you can delete your account.
